Who's rocking the stock wheels on their 3rd gen?

Hmmmm I am running Stock wheels on both of my Trucks ..... have not really gave that much of a consideration to changing em.

 

LOVE the stock wheels. I did get the black vinyl for the wheels. Also plan to de-badge and install the black SR grille bezel.

 

Stock sport. I'm looking to put Dynapro A/TMs on them soon.

I like the stock wheels but they are pretty skinny at 7in wide. When I jump to 35s, I might have to go aftermarket. For now, I will gladly rock the stocks ones.

 

It’s the 3/1 inch spacer/block “lift” from low range. I bought it to see if I liked the ride highth before I get a “real” suspension lift.

 

Finally I get to see what that looks like. How does it ride?

 

With the SPC UCAs pretty much like stock as it still has the stock shocks and springs. The 285/75’s do bogg the acceleration a bit though.

I like my SPC UCAs, been thru some pretty bumpy stuff with them, they are great. I have a set of replacement ball joints for mine sitting in front of me now.

You may know this about tires... I use to be a wider tire guy, but recently switched to 255’s. May want to check them out. Better mpg, lighter, and more direct pressure to various surfaces like snow, ice, wet road.

I really like the stock OR wheels. I think they look better than the pro wheels.

Actually just Plasti dipped my stock rims!

 

Running BFG KO2s 285/75/ on my stock wheels I just swapped out lugs from chrome to black

 

I would like to see your pics of stock OR rims coated something other than black.
