I guess that's a fair point. It's a little difficult to figure that out without a fair amount of work. I guess I was confused of what the tape measure A) is telling us and B) the angle of the camera makes the numbers skewed so what are you showing?

Every setup has it's pros/cons and you have to figure out what will work best. Typically, SUA is the better option for higher speed driving and offers more bump travel but doesn't support a lot of weight too well. It is also rather pricey to have done. A lot of fabrication work is required. You do achieve a lot of flex so crawling shouldn't be too much of an issue. There is the argument of the unflipped u-bolts, however you really have to hug some rocks for that to be an issue.

You can get a SOA to preform rather well and be less costly but you won't achieve the same travel numbers. It's application and cost at the end of the day. It really depends on what "bomb down a trail" means to you.

You might look into some heavier front springs.... One of the pictures you posted looks like your adjusters are pretty cranked :

As I’m still learning, literally a crash course, what is SUA and SOA?

Yeah I’ve thought of that, I think the previous owner selected the Coilover before installing the front bumper. Can you show me a resource where I can buy/learn about grout long travel Coilover springs? Can I change the springs on the the front LT Fox Coilover?

I kind of feel like I hooked up with that superhot chick we all dreamed about, apparently she’s got a darker side

    SUA: Spring Under Axle
    SOA: Spring Over Axle

Yes you can. There are many sources for springs but Fox use Eibach springs. Not too familiar with LT coil overs but they likely come with a 600 lbs spring from the factory. Maybe someone else can confirm length?

I have SUA Deavers but like people have mentioned above, it's not just a bolt on kit. You will have to weld on both your frame and axle but you will achieve better rear articulation than are currently.

I am running total chaos PART #86450-HD with king shocks.

My springs are already under the axle, do you think it’ll be easier
