By the way, I have some seal lube/sealant, it's loctite brand we use it at work for input/output gearbox seals, works great and may be necessary if your housing is a little loose. Works great, used in in the '00's rear axle seals when I rebuilt the locker axle.

*LOCTITE 573 FLANGE SEALANT

It's rated for use with gear and engine oils.

 

Cool. I was thinking about using Ultra Black on the next seal. I should have on this one. The real kick in the teeth is this was the expensive-ass Toyota seal I have no idea why I bought after I heard how much they wanted for it. Guess I was hoping it would last another 20 years like the first one did. I suppose that'll learn me. So far, I've replaced the inner axle seal on the other side with one from Marlin and I replaced the front output T-case seal with one from NAPA and both have been in there three or four years now and haven't leaked a drop.

He is a commercial customer I have and offered it to me when I was talking to him about picking up some tires soon.

Well, I'm certain that something has gone horribly wrong. I changed out that right front axle seal (again) today and it actually went smoothly and I DIDN'T make a huge mess while draining and filling the diff. My pressure filler thing I made worked perfectly. Only thing that didn't go right is my back is killing me now, but that's not unusual. I guess if I'm not laid up tomorrow, I'll change the rear pinion seal. After that, I'll be ready to start bugging @allenfab about which Sunday I can swing by so we can change my throw-out bearing and installate my new crossmember.

 

Starting to mock up parts of the supercharger so I can make the missing brackets for the intercooler.



Also just about finished the jig for my uppers I was going to make. I ended up buying a set off someone but already had all the parts so I figured might as well finish the project. And yes I know the welds are garbage. I've only had a few hours of time welding and I'm using a vastly underpowered welder lol

Just need to drill and tap a hole for the uniball slug
