have they been gone a while? IIRC they are in town for a couple missions and you have to learn some stuff from them.

 

I read about this bug yesterday and have been checking my camp since then and they seem to be missing , couple game days

 

In my case John , Abigail and Jack are there , but the 3 girls seem to be gone

 

Did you check Valentine?

 

Not yet , do they stay there for days ?

 

I didn't notice while I was playing because I did a lot of exploring in the meantime but they do work up some schemes so it's possible.

Same here, but I've been into the gunsmith twice since and there is no shopkeeper so I can't buy anything. The time I was there before that, there wasn't a shopkeeper either, so I robbed the cash register. I wonder if that has anything to do with it.

 

you took all the guys money so he has nothing to keep shop open with

 

I left him his inventory.

 

I decided to go exploring and found that town St. Denis. That place is huge! This game jusy continues to amaze/excite me haha

 

he lets you buy any gun from the gunsmith for free in valentine later in the game.

 

he lets you buy any gun you want from the gunsmith later in the game go talk to him he should be on the bench outside the gunsmith in valentine

 

he was outside a store in Rhodes for me.

 

If my math is correct, he is in need of saving at least 3 times. There's the incident where Arthur and Javier rescue him (dick move of him to kill Javier in Mexico) and throughout the entire game he goes on and on about being left for dead by Dutch and the gang, and finally there is the incident where Bill shots him at Fort Mercer.

Just seems weird that he finally figures out how to not be in peril.

 

did you switch camps yet? maybe he changes locations when you switch camps but that awesome hes not always in the same spot.

also maybe its because i gave him medicine and didn't suck the venom out? cool how things can change like that.

 

I can't remember honestly. I don't think I had changed yet but I might be wrong. I have a feeling he is "whatever store you come to next" he'll be at if you help him.

 

without being a spoiling sally I can say that theres a good reason for john wanting to kill everyone in the first game
