Drove this bad boy home last night and I loved it. Sharp looking truck. I used to think Tacoma’s were little bitty pointless trucks. I’m happy I went this route. I’ve always had a full size pickup. The scoop on the hood is awesome. I like everything about it. Do any of you have a lift on your tuck or leveling kit?
el tano I work at D&M Leasing... just so you know those Colorado’s do not hold their value very well according to how they lease out. It’s a truck though so it will always be worth something. I don’t care for them, but I would look into how they depreciate before you pull the trigger on one. (If you care about that)

    Welcome!

I’ve driven nothing but large GM cars and trucks with V8s (with the exception of a BMW 328xi). I recently traded in my 13 Sierra Crew Cab for a DCLB Tacoma.

Obviously the size is a big change, but I expected that. I am adjusting to that alright and am glad that I went with a long bed. Having driven mostly V8s though, the biggest difference for me is the powertrain. I’m hoping to get used to that part still, because even though it is smaller and lighter it drives like a full size truck with a V6.

I have never been more motivated to modify a vehicle before. That part is probably because I joined Tacoma World and exposed myself to the awesome things that other people have done to improve on their trucks. There are a lot of very creative and capable people on here and they will cost you money haha.

Yeah I plan on decking this out. I’m trying to find the right lift for it as we speak. Going to keep the same wheels but add some bigger tires. And maybe add a new grill. So I know what you’re talking about. I see some things done I would have never even thought of. Some cool stuff.

Sounds good, I look forward to watching as your truck progresses.
