Hey now, if we teach people how to search through threads then what will they open new threads about?

 

Was this meant for Phoosa or me? If there is more then one of us we can knock it out while I work on the wife’s 4Runner.

No I told my wife I'm.doing lift and tires that's it maybe a bumper winch roof rack some led lights probably a supercharger to lol

Ouch!! If you do end up getting one, I can absolutely help you install it (for a lot less). I've taken the blower off of mine already to change the plugs and feel 100% comfortable doing the complete install now.

Damn they're pricy, but the whine and power is so addicting

 

I agree but for the price there's only a 70 hp increase

Hahah there has probably been more whining out of me in the following months than the blower since I've had so many stupid issues. Im about ready to ditch the UCON, Im pretty sure that has been causing all my problems

 

No I came from driving a 2000 f150 with a bigger v6 and the power this 4.0 put out is more then enough for what I need

 

That's just with stock everything though.. I am pushing 370hp (at the crank) with mine. With a smaller pulley, intake, headers, ypipe, and a full 3" exhaust, the truck will walk away from v8s now.

 

But is that much power usefull in the off-road world

 

It will work itself out, you will find the problem as I’m sure it’s been a real pita.

 

Should be great for crawling since it's a roots blower and makes power/torque the second you hit the gas.. I cant speak from personal experience though as my truck is a 4wd street queen

 

Sure hope so! Since the truck is down for the next couple weeks, im gonna go thru everything and try to see if I can track down the problem. 99.99% sure that it's the ucon though. I've replaced pretty much everything. Narrowed it down to either grounding issues, or the stupid ucon

 

True Im trying to get her legs wet in the mud but some jack ass put Michelin hiway tires on here I got stuck the other day had to have my wife come pull me out in the f250 she wasn't happy
