Picked up my Sparrow today, 8 1/2 month wait. I also picked up a Ruger Precision .22 for it, even though I have several other threaded .22's. I felt it was justified to celebrate the occasion.

Don't know yet! Going today or tomorrow to test it out. It does come with a reduced power spring which I thought was awesome

Took the 509T out today with the Optimus and it was awesome! Those suppressor height sight work amazing and the Burris fastfire cowitnesses with the sights perfectly :D shot a little low but that's to be expected. If I hold it perfectly I can get almost right on target.

If SiShop already has your info use them, I believe they submit via the Eform system.
IMO it’s worth it for less hassle and also if you have unlimited single shot trusts like I do it just makes it simple.

Griffin Armament dropped a new Can today, Paladin 5.

    Diameter: 1.5"
    Overall Length: 6.3"
    Length Added: 5"
    Weight: 12.5 Ounces
Materials: 17-4 Stainless Steel, and 6AL4V Titanium
    Attachment: Taper Mount devices
    DB Attenuation: 5.56mm (131.5db), 22LR(115db)
    Finish: QPQ finish
    Full Auto Rated: Yes
    Barrel Length restrictions: None!

It seems like it should be a good patrol rifle suppressor, it uses the same baffle stack as the Recce 5.
I'm very happy with Griffins rifle can lineup, the only addition that I would like to see is a compact .30 cal (about the same length as the Paladin 5)

FYI, per SiShops IG live they are holding any Form 1's that are submitted until their system works with the File system, they didn't want to give a date of when it will work however they did say that it is close. They have stopped printing paper form 1's.

That’s neato! I wish I had a need for another 556 can, that would be it.

I’m going to be buying a dedicated .30 cal can next, and then a rim fire but after those two this will likely be my next purchase, it seems like a very good can for a dedicated 556 rifle from SBR to rifle length barrels.

Griffin has treated me well over the years, we have a mutual friend and he originally swayed me to their stuff. There’s a ton of options for 30 cal suppressors, but my Recce 7 and rsta 7.62 have been amazing on everything I’ve put them on.

I really like their stuff also, I have an Optimus and checkmate QD from them.
The checkmate was my first can and then I bought the Optimus (I almost bought the Paladin instead) and I was planning on the Paladin or Recce 7 being my next can but I realized I would rather have a short .30 cal can first for my 12.5” 556 that I use for home defense and will hopefully be allowed to use for my patrol rifle.
I asked about a compact .30 cal can on their IG after they dropped the Paladin 5 and they hinted that something is just around the corner, so I’m excited to see what they drop, hopefully around the 5”-5.5” length and compatible with the taper mount (if I had to guess they would make it minimalist only) and below 14 oz.

The RSTA is an interesting design, if I had a 20” barrel SPR and didn’t have to pay tax stamps and wait I would pick one up.

I’ve looked at different options and I’m going to stick with Griffin armamant (unless I deviate and get a Dead Air) because of the investment in mounts, it will allow me to run 556 cans and 7.62 cans on any of my rifles depending on weight/length needs vs suppression needs.

Griffin did a short live Q&A on their Instagram today, they answered a few questions folks had about the Paladin 5, and they let it slip that they will be releasing several cans over the next 4-6 weeks to include a .30 cal K can.
