I thought about just baking potatoes in the microwave and then mashing them and doing instant gravy and that would technically not be adding a pot into things but its already gonna be a pretty involved video and I don't wanna push my luck haha

Slow-cooking via immersion in a sealed bag in warm water. I do a redneck version every now and then with a ziplock, a cooler, and a few gallons of hot tap water. Then grill it. Om nom nom

It had good flavor but I would change the recipe to a full pound of shrimp. The rice also broke down a lot and got a little mushy but would be really good to cook the rice separately and mix it as needed.

Going to be doing some chili soon, getting to be the right weather. I don't mine in a crock pot though. Tried it once and ended up with meat paste instead of chunks. lol

    i use this for chili:
2 pounds ground turkey (or whatever meat you prefer)
    1 red onion
    5 cloved garlic
    1/4 cup pickled jalapeno slices
    6 oz tomato paste
    14 oz can Rotel
    14 oz can stewed tomatoes
14 oz can red kidney beans
    2 tblspn Worcestershire sauce
    4 tblspn chili powder
    2 tblspn cumin
    2 tspn salt
    1 tspn garlic powder
    1 tspn onion powder
    1 tspn oregano
    1 tspn pepper
    1/2 tspn cayenne

Brown meat, half of the onions, 2 tblspn garlic, salt and pepper. Drain any grease and add to slow cooker. Add remaining ingredients, stir to combine. Cook on low 6 hours or high 3-4.
