No. Applied with them though. Never heard back.

 

Not really. Anything construction related has no appeal to me.

 

Ok, as they are big into having safety personnel onsite to manage these things.

 

Yes big general contractors always looking for safety mangers a lot I deal with have no clue yet alone a degree

 

Agreed, and they make damn good money.

In regards to osha, the last class I had with them I laughed at them through most of it. The guy even said if I see you in the field I’m gonna give you a ticket, I told him go and try.

 

Yea a lot of the safety guys think they are cops at jobsites, I'm usually a smart ass around them, especially the younger guys they don't have enough experience on the field at all ,chit I been a sheetmetal journey man going on 26 yrs and these guys think they know all from reading

 

Lol yeah its not ideal, i could eliminate most of it with spacers, but i hate those, so im just gonna let it self clearance

 

The thing that has always kept me out of fire is that I have never been part of a union, the osha guys like to pick on you all.

 

Ill have to watch this sometime. Looks like a good show based on the commercials i see

Actually they never did we always followed the guidelines and beyond, it was always the framers , some iron workers they had a gripe on

Just thinking about going back into that line of work sickens me.

 

I like that kind of work, the office gets mad when I come tracking mud into the place, but they also don’t provide any way for me to clean them.

 

Make them buy you a boot boy, install by the entrance.
