I ordered some Rek Gen mud flaps with the red logo. That should about exhaust the budget for add-ons.

Just mounted today. Going to keep the stock wheels/tires. I bought the wheels from a customer of ours who went another direction, the tires were 1000 mile Jeep JL takeoffs. I'm all in to the wheels/tires for $1000 ($500 for each)

Will that affect the operation of the pillar airbag?

New member here, but have been lurking for quite some time - 2.5 years actually! (when I bought my truck). I finally pulled the trigger on some used FN wheels and some 265/70R17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers and got them installed last night (still needs a bath). Amazing how much of a difference wheels and tires make.

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
Took her in for her 20K mi. maintenance today. Got the AC blower motor recall replacement done.

Thought we were done with this for a while, but nooooooo...

They tell me my right front wheel bearing is "loose" and needs to be replaced. Upside: It's in warranty. Downside: They tell me it will take 3 hours to replace (when they get the part). :notsure:

How the hell does a wheel bearing go bad in 20k miles?

Bear in mind that I bought this truck used with 18K on the clock, so I don't know every detail of its past life. I do know that the previous owner was commuting from Montana to Missouri, hence the miles.

There's no evidence that it's been in a mishap, but there something funny about the right front wheel. A couple months ago, I took it in because it was missing a band clamp on the CV boot of that same wheel. They don't just fall off.

(3 hours to replace a bearing?)

That seems reasonable to me, since they have all the special tools. It would probably take me all day.

I put mine on today and had a lot. I mean a lotttt of issues with the decals pulling the paper backing off. I used the method with tape and found that after a lot of trouble, the one Toyota decal and one of the A's got messed up. They look good, but I'm bummed that when you get up close, you can see the problems.

A dinner date carries a lot of weight. It needn't be anything extravagant, you'll both have fun and there are perks that go with it!
An Applebee's or something similar might work. Every once in a while you just have to say, " what the ffff......... heck!"
OR you could also fix her dinner!

Looks good from here, but if you suffer from OCD like some of us then I see some extra letters in your future. The little mistakes happen but will help with the next mod. Think of it as a confidence builder. If you're like me you're your own biggest critic! I think it looks fine.

Oh, the OCD is stronnnnnnnnng. It's really just the one toyota emblem, and the one A. The rest is fine. Time will tell.

Oh, right. Like that's not going to raise a red flag.

"Hey, I'm going to make dinner tonight! You just sit and relax. Here, have a glass of wine."

"What did you buy now and how much was it?"
