We've had issues with the coyotes lately, they took down 2 of the neighbors goats for sport, ate some.of the hind and left them. I was wondering what the hell was going on as I had seen multiple coyotes in 2-3 days time which is unusual as I work in a quarry and we make plenty of noise that generally keeps them on the perimeter and not usually running around during crushing operations. Go figure as soon as I start packing at work, I haven't seen hide nor hair of them.

My grandpa had the magazine fed version of this gun. That thing was a slick shooter.

I’ve had good luck with the eley, but the 10x in a couple rifles, some just hate it. Best groups from anything i feed it to is Lapua Midas +.

    Never tried the eley edge.

Wolf MT is good stuff as well.

That said, I pushed 250rds of Anguilla match comp through my Kimber 82g yesterday. Made a 3/8 hole in the x ring at 50yrds. Only had maybe 6 flyers in the batch for a max spread of maybe 3/4”. It’s meh ammo but my Kimber loves it... while my wife’s savage mkii was hitting a 2” group with the same lot.

Got it to a known distance range this weekend and shot some groups at 50 yards. Im happy but not blown away. Going to try some different ammo. My issue was nothing shooting very consistently.

5 shot group, very happy w/ this one!

    [IMG] I
    10 shot, not so great

    10 shot, not bad!

    5 shot, meh.

I also shot some federal golden bullets and winchester bulk stuff. Both of those shot consistant ~2" 10 shot groups.

Going to try some standard/subsonic stuff next from any brands i can.

For the general plinking i want to do i dont know if i want to spend that much $ per round. I want small groups but i dont compete or anything so its probably not worth it.

Both of my 10/22s love cci standard velocity. It's fun to plink with the bulk stuff but it doesnt shoot groups for crap in my guns.

I inherited this from my Uncle. It's a Savage Model 20 (I think). Sort of a varmint gun.

    It's a single-shot double-barrel over/under; a .22LR for the upper barrel and .410 shotgun for the lower barrel.
