Metallica have always been great in concert. My fave was the "and justice for all" tour. Queen opened for them.

I've seen ZZ Top twice in concert and I thought they were pretty good. Oasis also put on a good show.

I think you mean Queensryche. I saw that tour. It was The Cult and Queensryche opening.

In Canada , or at least Vancouver , we got the Cult opening for Metallica , no Queensryche .

That was a cool show .

    Not my cup of tea.

Some of my favorites I've seen (very "old school"):
    The Who (in '82)
    AC/DC
    Pink Floyd
    Rolling Stones
    Elton John

    Cheers.

there will always be arguments, to say best live band ever is just an opinion, although shared by a lot, doesnt make it a truth. id have to say green day puts on a hell of a show.

Not a fan of Muse. My wife likes them, though.

I've seen WAY to meany good concerts to pick 1 band as the best live, but back in the 80s Iron Maiden were the kings. Powerslave tour was probably the best live perfomrance I've ever seen.

    Rush never disappoints either.

Gwar's another good live show, but after you've seen them a few times the newness wears off.

U2 can almost seem like a religious experience, in concert.

The Grateful Dead is the greatest live band ever, how is this even an arguement?
