HS507C came in, before sending it out with my slide to be milled I had to try it on my Marlin.
I really like it, I may have to pick up a 510 (bigger brother to the 507) for the Marlin.

 

I tried an optic on a lever gun and found it to be to high. You use more of a chin vrs cheek weld on the stock with an optic?

 

I clicked on the part # and it's out of stock.

Negative, the top edge of the stock runs pretty much at the same height as my mouth, very comfortable and quick to shoulder, puts the reticle just above center of the window.
I think it’s about the same as the magnified scope on standard rings that used to be on it.

I got mine from Glock Store, the only place that I could find with them in stock, it took 5 days to prep for shipping but they sent it 2 day shipping.

That’s what first came to my mind. I would like to shoot that combo to see.

 

I love it, haven’t shot it at all but the function is very similar to the Holosun that I have on my SBR, the window seems to be about the perfect size for carry on a pistol, and I really like the Circle-Dot reticle, it’s my first time messing with one of those.
The 2 MOA dot looks very good, even more crisp than the dot on my 403C (it may be my astigmatism, I’m not sure) and the 32 MOA circle is awesome, it should be the perfect size for shooting the 6” plates at 25 yards or under.

I did notice that when inside and aiming outside on an overcast day the reticle washed out fairly easily, however that is fixed by switching to a manual mode.
I think I’ll be very happy with it on my duty pistol with suppressor sights for backup (my main concern is the washing out transitioning through different areas).

 

Which end of almost Alabama are you at? If you’re on the southwest side you’re at most an hour from me.

Did you get the solar model? If so, that's why you get the washout when aiming into lighter areas from darker areas. I'm grabbing a 510C soon. Can't decide between red or green.
