I was just informed by the head of the project I'm guarding, that tonight is going to be the last night and they will be strictly working on it during the day, despite my schedule being to guard this post nearly every night thru the 9th.

He said it was because the contractors didn't have the support needed or something. But I know... It's because I requested a light tower last night and it's still not here. I wonder where they're going to send me tomorrow night and so on then.

@Crow_of_judgement Mark from Shrockworks called me today...turns out he had been responding to my emails but they were going to my junk folder so I never saw them. I felt like a complete ass. I apologized. Turns out that you’re only using 2 of the 3 holes at each mounting point and at each mounting point, you have to drill a hole in the bottom side of the frame.

Don't worry Frank, you are almost there. If I knew enough about the specifics, I'd offer to work for you to help ease the load. I'm experienced in all elevated levels of bullshit, and might be of some help.
But, after going through Dallas last Friday, OH GOD NO WAY I COULD LIVE THERE!

Ha. The mustang would be in contact with the ground if they had sliders on them.

Getting ready to book the Thanksgiving trip. Trying to make people commit to stuff they don't want to, to get there. It will be another drive in a Hybrid. To Missou and Michigan and back. Booking stays for shorter drives tho.

Thankfully, only one marriage. Yes, my pension came from long ago, and far away. but it was still a part of the people who kept buying us, so it lived! 401 is what I will live off of next two years, and pension basically pays insurance. I pay for the youngest sons insurance and car gas and insurance, but he is a grad student, and will hopefully be employed by someone other than a University by next year. He is employed by U of Missou in the music department, and they gave him scholarship for all classes. So, he pays rent and the 2012 Prius payments, and his phone. If you get your girl a Trac Phone, you can pay $19 for three months, and she can make decisions about using it all the time!

Fancy phones cost a lot. Youngest has a Virgin Mobile plan, and it's around $35 a month, and he uses the crap out of it.
Us old fart parents both have Trac phones..... $19 for three months.....

I'd suggest review the usage and features. I fully admit we are NOT phone junkies. But what you really use, vs. what you pay for can be huge. Trac phone only offers cheap phones (think used Samsung), but you can bring your own. Heck, WalMart offers family plans starting at $40 month. Have your wife check it out if you are busy (you are). Put it on a spreadsheet, and you can whittle it down a ton I bet.
