I had like three pieces of thin crust pizza and a cinnabon thing. Luckily, I'm hungry only for eggs and lukewarm water when I'm hungover, haha.

Lmao right. I was carrying titan (120# German Shepard) to put him on the scale at the vets office since he’s a big pussy and won’t get up on there himself. As soon as I went to put him down he freaked out and did that whole throwing his body around and my left arm just let loose. MRI shows that it’s a partial tear and no surgery needed yet but not to strain it for a few months.......

I hook grip sumo. It feels better to me than conventional. I can do both pretty well. I usually have my hands half on/off the knurling but I have to usually use straps when the weight gets heavy. The bars at my gym dont have aggressive enough knurling and don't allow chalk. I use switch grip occasionally but still my hands gets sweaty, moms spahgetti and bar slips. I like sumo because I get a better ham/glute activation, and I feel like I've been lagging in that area. I'll pull conventional on my back down sets or on deload weeks.

Whoa whoa whoa. You had three pieces of thin crust pizza and a Cinnabon thing and feel like you gained 40 pounds!?

Here I am thinking eating an ENTIRE thin crust pizza is okay because it’s thin and therefore has less calories!

The more carbs in the meal or throughout my day of rampage lol the worse I feel.

If its a splurge (I hate the word cheat) of steak and eggs I typically feel just fine. Splurge on cheesecake... kinda feel miserable haha

    I agree.

Protien powders hold no magic abilities. Whey protien is good for nutrient timing especially for people who have a hard time meeting cal requirements or for those who have a hard time eating after workouts.

They do not result in better gains or better fat loss.

Really its something you consume if you like them. No real benefit to having them over real food. In fact for fat loss depending on the brand, real food is healthier and less caloric.

    Thats my DL jam.

I just wanted to be the one to let everyone know that @zacharypaul89 is no longer the resident fatass in this thread. He’s now the resident pencil neck and is weaker than @Kerleyfries

Like some of you mentioned, I moved my sumo grip out just a tad to catch a little knurl. Felt mucho better. Thanks for the tips!

Actually ended up pulling my my 1RM for 3. Top sets at 385x3, 425x3, 445x3. Was a good day.

Unfortunately I’ve accepted that I reached my peak strength at age 22. That was 9 years ago. I took a few years off lifting before I got back into it but I’ve never been able to get back to that level. Whatever. Maybe old man strength will kick in in a few years.

I’m 31 and stronger now than ever :notsure: that’s not saying a lot, because I’m still not strong.

I’m older than you and also the strongest I’ve ever been. But at the same time I’m not really strong either.

Same. Turned 30 in July but have been hitting PRs all year long. Age is just a number, so is the weight on the bar. Which is a small number for me :bananadead:
