I couldn't say for sure. I would suggest you ask your local dealer. You can see my part number in the picture

 

It is not plug and plus with pre 2012. Should be plug and play 2012+. I know 2013+ it works for 2nd gen. I swapped to this unit then to the Nav. This is a great deal for the whole package including bezel.

Correct. Harness is the same. If you want a couple features control from the wheel you need to upgrade the steering wheel controls and add a wire but radio works perfect. Since your adding the mount and bezel buyer gets all they need for radio to work. And your tossing in the XM module.

 

I forgot so did add an eBay GPS module to get the weather stuff to work as I did not have XM or GPS but only radio was missing for this model.

This etune had weather, HD radio, Sirius, bluetooth, cd. However, you get what you see. I don't have any antennas to go with it.

Not interested in the steering controls, Bluetooth or other extras just the radio and if it could be used for a backup camera screen.

 

Hello did you ever get this head unit and installed it .
It will work on your 2006 just need to buy and antenna adaptor mic and a harness to connect the mic for phone functions.
Wanted to know as I’m trying to add a backup camera to the 2015 Tacoma head unit I installed.

Here is a picture of my 2006 single cab with the 2015 head unit I love it I’m just trying to figure out how to add an aftermarket or OEM backup camera .

 

What is the part number for the wire harness from the clock spring to the head unit? I'm trying to add steering wheel controls to my 09 base.
