Kids had fun last night trick or treating. Oldest has a nasty cough going on... FML. That kid always has something going on as soon as summer is over and fall begins.

Just think, you or your wife will not be feeling well for thanksgiving. Oldest gets it, passes it to the youngest, and then to you or her. Just the right amount of time for the holiday. Ask me how I know...

 

I know that story all too well my friend. Been there, done that. For a few years in a row, he was sick for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year.

 

That's not fun at all! Maybe he needs a bubble?

Constant colds/runny nose, cough, a bunch of ear infections which lead to two sets of ear tubs and adenoids removed, fevers... The works. Doc says it's because he's in daycare, and that it will make his immune system stronger when he's older. We'll see about that!

 

Definitely sucks being sick, but it’s good in the long run building that immunity. Hope it’s a quick little bug for everyone’s sake.

 

Forgot to talk about the truck "shaking". Yesterday morning I couldn't quite get up to highway speed on the way to work, but managed to on the way home for a bit. There was an accident on 84 between exits 5 and 7 that blocked two lanes, so once we got passed that, it was practically wide open. Got it up to speed, pushed it a bit, and seems like the "shaking" was gone. All I felt was "minor" shaking, which I think at this point might be either because of the road, the tires, the suspension, or whatever else it may be since the truck is "modded" a bit.

Same thing on the way in this morning. Got it up to highway speed, and felt pretty much the same as it did on the way home yesterday. I think the problem is "gone".

So it was the brakes? Rotors replaced or turned down? Were they warped?

 

Replaced rotors, and new brake pads. Can't remember what they said about them though, about what was wrong with them.

Ever since I had kids, my memory seems like it's going a bit. ARGH. Not sure if it says it on the paperwork, so I'll have to check since I have it in the truck.

 

Parts came in for the rear diff breather mod; picked them up during my lunch break. Lmao, thought this would be 5-10 bucks based on prior write ups on this. Local stealership got me for 20; feel like a sucker. Excited to tinker on the truck though! Took tomorrow off to get this and that fog light anytime mod done (and just for an excuse for a day off; it’s been a while..)

 

Hey hope everyone isn’t sick on candy!!! Lol. Question, do the second gen keys have a chip or anything? I only got one key and would like another. I don’t need another fob, hate them!

 

You can have a spare key made to unlock the doors. As far as being able to start it and drive with the spare key, I never tried it out.

 

I don't think they do. At least looking at both of mine it doesn't look like it.
