If it’s available in 6 years, a 4 door, and 25k cheap I’ll think about it

Nope no personalized plates. Only 2 years difference and I'm 4x4 but I didn't think that mattered with registration...I know it's factored into insurance. Weird.

I hate all of you. Your's is 8 years older though.

Of course calling the DMV about it will probably take all day and not give me an answer other than "that's the way it is".

I think I paid about the same, and I have personalized plates. I’ll have to check my binder when I get home.

I have some new OEM LBJ’s waiting for me.

My 04 was 176.00 no special plates. But I live in the bay. So there's a cost for that...

Resgistration in Oregon is just a flat fee, doesn't matter what you drive

Lol but mine is $291...if anything the Bay area should be higher than mine. I'll have to call and find out what's going on, some idiot at the DMV probably factored me in as having a 2014 Tacoma instead of an 04 or something like that.

Could be a "local fee".. the local county's jump on the registration fees now

Wouldn't surprise me...I'll have to post in a local thread and see what others in LA are paying.

My wife owes about the same on her 03 Honda Accord so you might be on to something.

Standard rule is smoke for anything 20 years or newer I think, the county I live in randomly made the rule 30 years, but anything outside the DEQ zone (basically anything in the country including me) doesn't need to be tested
