One of them is mine! I will name it Kaywinnet. It's mate is there just not in the picture, and I shall name it Simon.

Grade 5 are far more than sufficient.

I feel like by the time RRW’s DCLB slider comes out it will be close to Black Friday and so many of other companies will have discounts on their DCLB sliders.

You are definitely right. Grade 5 actually has more give than grade 8 even thought the grade 8 bolts are stronger.

Here's an update on the powder coating. Here are some of the sliders that got sand blasted and ready for powder. They should be done sand blasting the entire batch by tomorrow. Will update you guys again in a few days.

Pleeeeeeasse offer a bare metal option!!!! Powder coating seems to be making things take longer and adding difficulty anyway.

I’m #1744 and I’m in this batch so I’d assume you’re in the next batch.

RRW has been great with emails, drop them a note, they will get back to you within 24hrs

You don't read this thread? Ray updates us at least twice per week here. He answers every post made and has been showing us progress of builds and apprising us of the reason for the delays as they refine the production process. About the only thing he could do would be to add a "order XXXX to YYYY are in this batch" note ... but you don't get anything close to this level of communication from anyone else, so why expect it here? Man, the young guys here would have died ordering by catalog and waiting an unknown length of time for a product that you never actually saw from a company that you couldn't research but looked cool in the magazine that you found in the mechanic's waiting room.

    Hi Everyone,

Update on the sliders. The entire batch is now sandblasted & cleaned up. Next step is to powder coat them. They might have a few sets finished tomorrow so we can check the quality. If they come in tomorrow i'll be sure to share some photos with you guys.

    Best regards,

Awesome! Question, I know I'll be in the third batch. Will I be getting this by the end of the month or by end of December?

Fingers crossed for high quality PC! Holiday season is around the corner, need protection from all the crazy mall folks throwing their Prius doors open!
