What were you plans for that tranny?

 

be like me. try to get a 4runner AWD transfercase... (i believe the 01-02 4runners were also the oddball drive by wire setup used on the 03-04 tacos)

 

hmm more things to mess with when i get my chassis built

 

i have my dad and his friends to blame.. ive been around race cars, race bikes. supped up boats... since i was a little kid.. when his friends were over the neighborhood knew.. straight pipes for days. lol (too bad he got rid of all the fun toys.)

 

so... may be a stupid question.. but wheres the steering stop on the factory control arms for our trucks? i keep eyeballing the solo motorsport arms because.. well i dont know why. but they state they lose the factory steering stop... but i dont see one anyway (unless im blind.. which i kind of am)

 

Dammit, I want a boat.

I have a friend who lives in an upscale subdivision up in the hills that offers boat/RV parking for $75 a month. Hmm...

 

i'll give you a boat for the truck (granted said boat my be a bit small)

 

With tires and wheels like mine my frame became my steering stop

 

Thats the 02s problem (damn 2nd gen wheels) and thats with factory sized tires.

But cant complain. got brand new 2nd gen 16" wheels for free with no tires...

 

I’ll take the supercharger.

That brings back memories. My buddy had a black impulse like that back in like 96-97, slammed to the ground. Would crack me up cause he would chirp the tires downshifting.
