Usually I fill up at a little below half, but I was keeping score for barto.

I know my truck well enough that I know how far empty I can go with the gas light on if needed. I can go with the width of the needle below the E line.

I rarely if ever go until the light comes on, not good for the fuel pump. My Walboro aftermarket pump whines enough as it is, don't want to put any more added stress on it lol

I don't either, was saying if needed & how well I know my truck. Luckily I've never had a fuel pump die on any of my vehicles (knock on wood).

You don’t know how many years I relied on that stupid gas light, only to realize it was never pinned or hooked up from the factory.

All ya gotta do is wait till it comes on when driving the truck on level ground, make a note & drive it till it runs out of gas. Then you'll know roughly how many miles you can go.

Not that I've ever done it. I have no idea how many miles I can get when the light comes one. I've only ever ran out of gas twice in my life. Once was on this truck but when I ran out I was headed to the gas station & coasted right into the gas station, no pushing needed. Lol

You have roughly 3 gallons left when it comes on.

So now that I have a snorkel ordered....I should do some research and make sure it's going to work well with the supercharger. Did a quick search on here and on google and most everyone says that it does, but those are mostly in reference to the ARB one.

fuck me, didn't even notice that the estimated delivery date was Nov. 21 - Dec. 10. @m3bassman how long did it take to get your's?

Scrap steel aint worth my time. Aluminum, sure, but you need a dump truck load of steel for it to be worth the time.

Doesn’t take much to make a good buck on scrap steel when prices are good.

I got $950 for a good load of crushed screen I loaded with a skid steer and a tote of bucket teeth. I weighed like 22000lbs I think, but the Cummins took it like nothing

And on that note let’s look at a few photos of that truck. I miss it a lot.
