Wondering if anyone else is having the same issue as me. Whenever I turn it on, the light comes back into the cab and blinds me. Seems that it's comes in, bounces off the dash then the windshield and back into my eyes. These 2 pics show where my light bar is mounted now but I've also had it mounted lower and further back with no luck. I've also pointed it up but the I end up with a light in the trees and not on the road/trail in front of me. Has anyone else had this issue and found a solution?

    solution would be to:

    1. Get it off the roof / windshield entirely
    2. mount it behind the grille
    3. use a bottom cover - basically its a piece of whatever which is mounted to I believe the brackets or the lightbar itself - it extends a little out from the bar and essentially prevents that level of light blinding into the cab. couple of people on here making these. you'll have to search. I looked but cant find the link.

sidenote; looks like it needs to come up closer to the roof line. too far down the windshield.

Bad. Unless you have a visor for it or you have it mounted behind/back from the windshield.
Unless you're talking about mounting one to a crossbar.

Depends. I have non light color trucks get it pretty bad. It also depends how far you set it back and how you have it angled

I bought a slim, single row light bar and mounted it under my cross bar on my DC roof rack. Its amazing, and no hood glare when its on!!

Can you post a link to the light you bought? I really like that set up and might copy it.
