So I currently have these Faux headlights installed on my 18 SR5. I wanna install halos in them for a more custom look. Any recommendations on size or brand, and tips or tricks??

Work great and easy install. Here you go. I almost feel like the drl is brighter but the "lo" housing is dimmer/tinted than stock even though I'm running LED bulbs. Will do more of a comparison with my old stock housings next week. Overall happy with the quality of these compared to stock. Almost identical and easy plug and play.

Two really dumb questions. I’ve never messed with headlights before but this looks pretty easy:

I’ve seen some people mention “sealing” to prevent moisture from getting in. What exactly should be sealed? Maybe they were referring to the BHLM or upgrading the bulbs...

If I just use the bulbs that come with the headlights (no kits/retrofits, whatever those are haha) do I still need to adjust anything after I install? I have no clue how to do that but I’m sure I could find it on Google haha.

No sealing required as these are factory sealed. That is only for bhlm.
I don't remember if they came with bulbs. I already had led bulbs that I switched to the new lights. My factory headlights needed adjusting when I swapped to led bulbs but these were perfect after they were installed. Adjusting is simple when needed. There is an adjustment "wheel" on the engine side that is very simple to use. There are plenty of video and how to instructions on tacomaworld and google.

There is a gray wheel on the back side that adjust the aim up and down. You can use a screwdriver or a socket and ratchet. Same on stock.

Just search headlight adjustment for better directions. Mine have not been touched since installed a few months ago.

Anyone fit different projectors in these yet?

I retrofitted a set of Depo headlights for my other car with the Morimoto H1 7.0 about a year ago. I had to use the universal brackets and cut my own brackets which was kind of a pain in the ass. Would rather not do that again.

Here’s some pics of the differences between the two projectors. Depo on left, Morimoto on right.

And here you can kind of see the bracket I made (black part around the projector housing).
