Did you upgrade the bushings to the poly bushings archive offers on their site?

Ahh, they look yellow, figured the stock rubber bushings were black?

I’ll be purchasing a set of HH soon!

The yellow ones are on my leaf springs, but I think the ones you’re talking about are the ones that go on the shackle it self o_O

Lift? Yea I got one of those
Had my HH, stock shackles, and custom 6" Deavers installed and the ride quality is much better. Needless to say I'm also no longer riding on any blocks

    About halfway done...
Got HH with 3.6 shackles installed. :ballchain:
To be honest I struggled. The rivets are frustratingly difficult to remove. I ended up cutting my stock hanger off to gain access to the forward rivet. I’m really really glad I got 4 drill bits from @ARCHIVE made nice metal chips but did break one off in the frame. Got lucky and used a punch to remove it.
I also used my jack as a ram to aid in upside down drilling...

I decided to add two stainless steel washers per side to protect the fancy powder coat from the shackle bolt head.

The greaseable shackles work great! I used large C clamps to help line up the shackle in the HH.
Note I do still have the stock leaf pack installed. If I had to do this again I would have a minimum of two friends helping and at least one person stronger than yourself.

I removed my whole bed and those rivets were still a pain in the ass!

Is the shackle supposed to drop with stock hangers? Could it be that the bolt is too tight?
I been think about adding HH but I’m not sure if it will make a difference since I have a pretty basic set up ( Bilstein 5100sNOT extended travel with headstrong 3AAL)

With stock springs, the HH will make a big difference in ride quality and durability, but due to low arch of stock leaves, the travel increase is nil, at least by just the weight of the axle in vertical hang, might droop another 1/2". The revised HH will have minimal lift, ~3/8" with stock springs.

The HH will give a better ride quality but you will gain minimal droop being the limiting factor for your setup is the shock and leaf pack.

So the HH will give me a softer ride?
I want to upgrade the rear suspension, right now its really stiff feels like riding a stagecoach. And as you can see in the picture I don’t have any travel.
What I have in mind is getting extended travel shocks and the HH for sure. I have no idea as to what leaf spring should I get since I don’t plan to have steel bumper or a RTT

Yes, a softer ride and a more composed chassis feel, which you feel on and off road.
I don't recommend the All Pro springs, Dakars are decent accept they fan out and can gouge the shackles. Deaver u402 expo is a good one. Try to get shocks at least 25" extended

I like the fitment to the chassis and HH reusing stock shackles. The people I've heard from after installing HH say they ride very nice, before not so much. Probably a good option for an Access cab without the extra leaf installed. I still feel the Deaver U402 expo is my favorite
