I'll bet you could find something to fit over that connecter at your local Ace or other hardware store. You just have to think outside the box. Rubber caps for the bottom of chairs maybe or something similar. The hardware section at Ace has a wide variety of specialty items that may solve your problem for just a couple of bucks. Worth a try.

just getting started...Warrior Product Economy Bed Rack, CVT Shasta Summit RTT, Rigid DSS Side Shooter ditch lights on Rago Light Brackets, bed lighting by Matt Gecko LED, SSO Slimline hybrid bumper, 30” Rigid light bar, Smittybuilt X20 winch and Factor55 Flatlink.
So far, my mods are pretty much lighting based. Rigid ditch lights on Rago brackets, a bed light (I also run a Warrior Products rack with a CVT tent on the back, so the lights are a game changer in actually seeing in the bed at night) and custom, smart ass switches. We’re calling this phase 1 of the build, my bumper and winch just shipped, so that and the rear lights will be phases 2 and 3.

I cussed loudly at my Entune audio system. It has become a habit recently. I drive 25 minutes to work and it reboots about 3 times along the way. Beyond that, I haven't done anything much to mine lately.

Try the update you can download from this website. If that doesn't work, the stealership should be able to help.

If you have perfect conditions and an infinite amount of time, some hypermiling can go a long way

    upload_2018-11-3_8-13-28.jpg

That was coming to the end of about a 130 mile trip home.
