What size rivnuts are included? Want to make sure I have the right sized tool.

That guy actually is a quality fabricator. Meso isn’t the only guy who makes products for our trucks. That guy actually came out with this before Meso did and has it available for multiple vehicles. I will not link the name or anything because there is no need to in this thread.

Before the of booty-hurtness happens...this is a common idea that has been talked about for years and the aftermarket firearm/tacti-cool industries only have limited universal products, it was bound to happen that people would make a Tacoma specific version of a gun rack/storage panel.

That being said this is Meso’s thread and we can get back to his product. Just purchased mine, long awaited year release

Damn, there was an option of 2nd gen or 3rd gen. Any chance you can verify which one I got? I need the 3rd gen powdercoated one

 

I can see why company’s charge high S&H rates. This was exhausting. Now I don’t have to go to the gym tonight

I put in 3rd gen hardware.

 

Shipping is no joke! What i am currently doing for a living. I have to foam in place parts all the time which makes it nice, but takes time! Currently moving into a better position.

Awesome. Can’t wait to see these out in the wild.
As for the the tool... you “can” get by with a wrench+impact driver for hand installation but I highly recommend the rivet gun. It’s prettty cheap ~$20 IIRC, and not a bad idea to add another tool in the tool box.

 

Got mine in the mail at about noon today... Gotta say I was impressed by the packing too. First thing I thought is this is one creative and industrious MFER.. pretty sure there was some sort of 3'' or 4'' plumbing/piping material used to secure the rack in the box.
