Battlefield Toyota in Culpeper for me on the TSB...no questions asked. I'm sure someone on here has had a similar experience at a dealership closer to you, but worst case try them out. If you go to Culpeper, ask for Robbie; he is the service manager I deal with and is GTG (thanks @Casper66).

For any of you other military folks or dependents that dont live close to a base just thought I would share this. At least there will be somewhere closer to home to buy cheap booze.

 

The Silverado 2500 I looked at was a 2011 LTZ with 170k on it for $24,000. I gladly took the Tacoma.

You all knock anything down? I took the black piwder out this morning and saw a spike but I held out in hopes for a bigger buck. Going out this evening to another spot for archery. I will be shooting anything that walks in front of me with my bow, especially because the land owners want the deer gone!

That’s a nice one! I’ve got a 15 year old CVA Wolf. It works just fine and is plenty accurate, but it’s heavy as shit and way behind current “technology” in its components. I still have to use a special tool to unscrew the breech plug. Want to upgrade but it’s hard to justify when I only use it 4 weeks a year.

RIP to traffic near the airport and everywhere else.

 

I just read that and thought the same thing. I remember living there 10 years ago. It was so run down. I used to walk my dog by the Abandoned motel and south Clark playhouse. Always thought I would get mugged but it was right across from my apartment.

On a separate note, how the hell do they expect to handle that traffic? It’s right off a major artery into dc (395) which can’t handle traffic as it is. This sounds horrible...

 

HAHA yea i remember when i was in high school in this area in 06-07 i went down there for a photo project because it looked spooky and rundown. I dont even want to think about how bad that GW parkway area of ramps with 395 is going to end up. its already a disaster. I work at Reagan too, so I guess I'll have to leave my house like 3 hours early before work

 

As they are redoing the HOV lanes on 395 too. Construction is gonna end then they are gonna have to start again. No to mention my rent is gonna go up...

My roommate and I were talking about Amazon the other day. There is borderline nowhere for a new office in crystal city. My apartment is on decent amount of land so did some simple math and it would be billions of dollars to buy out enough land in that area. Let alone building a fancy headquarters

I have a friend who works for the power company and said they are installing a HUGE new power grid in crystal city for some "mystery" customer.
