    This stuff proves beyond a shadow of doubt that some folks love to see smoke coming from the exhaust.

    I'm not sure this video proves anything other than the lifter noise was less. I'd bet adding in the same quantity of mineral oil, kerosene or dish soap to the oil would have had the same effect on the lifter. Heck even a fresh oil change with some good detergent oil would have of it over time.

    I can’t think of a worse idea than pouring solvent in your oil and driving around for 200 miles. The oil is a highly engineered fluid designed to fight the breakdown of viscosity at extreme temperatures and very thin films.....so what could go wrong dumping a bunch of naphtha and kerosene in there? Whoever comes up with this crap really deserves a medal.

    Maybe I can convince them to put stones and chocolate milk in their engine. Guaranteed to clean out ALL of those nasty deposits. Smoking nicely at about 0:45
