I grew up eating squirrel brain in scrambled eggs too. Heart, liver, yeah, grandparents ate all that stuff. I stick to to regular muscle groups and let the coyotes have the organs.

This Spring bear was hunted over a bait barrel in west Saskatchewan Canada but he never made it to the barrel.... This bear had not shown up before on camera and was just out chasing honeys and he was in the wrong place at the right time for me. Only time I had ever had to take a straight on chest shot on a bear with bow. Track job was about 10 feet.

We have unlimited doe/fawn tags that are good for white-tail deer only. You can buy as many as you want, they will just print more. The season goes from September 1 - December 15. My freezer is getting kind of empty, so I was planning of getting a few, still might, but a friend came by with a gift today. He brought me a cow elk. Kind of a weird deal. One guy shot her and tracked her. She crossed a road into a different hunt area. My friend was there and had a tag for the hunt area she went into. After talking to the first guy, my friend finished her off. The first guy must not be a very good shot because she was gut shot bad. There are at least three, and maybe four bullet holes through it. There are enough it's hard to tell which entrance holes match up with which exit holes. I used a garden hose and cleaned it out as best I can. One bullet went through part of the pelvis. I can see why the first guy was so easy to let my friend have her, she's a mess. A lot of it is going to end up being dog food, but there is some good meat. I'll see how much good meat I end up with once I get her butchered, May still need to get a few white-tails.
