First project with the notcher, a stubby gas lens kit will be ordered today. I thought I could get by , I cant.

 

So I'm in need to get a mig gun for my Lincoln 140 (after the gun grew legs and walked off) should just replace it with a Lincoln? Or is there another as good but cheaper or better option?

 

I had to order some decorative end caps but this will be for my father in laws cabin.

I'm looking to build some plant stands sorta like this for christmas gifts, was wondering if anyone had suggestions on building a jig to pump a few out.

 

I got some "third hand" squares up for grabs. See details in the For sale: other section.

 

Make a frame out of wood and you could build one every 5 minutes after the parts are cut.

 

Find out Wich ones fit, then hold them to find out what feels the best in your hand.

I've always liked Tweeko, then Miller or Lincoln.

Cutting all your parts in advance and having a plan for assembly. Remember the first one is the worst one.

 

Yeah my first go without a frame is wonky as hell. Bottom is square and top is round, tried to line up the legs freehand... didn't go well

 

Been there, got the t-shirts.

I got a scrap pile full of "freehand good intentions" prototypes.

Some call it art, I call it a 12 pack after my next scrap iron recycle run.

 

I swapped out my Miller a few years ago with a Bernard and have been very happy with it so far.

 

Decided to fab up some combo jigs. I don't use mine very often, the triangle squares are used 90 percent of the time, but I figured someone else might find them handy.

Got the Langmuir table. Seems decent so far. Very happy with the cut quality and precision so far
