    I think he is referring to the exposed metal of the body around the (provided) spacer. Since the original cutout hole in the headliner is rectangular and the spacer is circular, there is a small exposed area of the bare metal showing. It’s really not that much and can only be seen from a certain angle. Cheap way would just put some black tape over it before mounting up the rack. I thought. About 3D printing some shrouds.. just haven’t got there yet.

    When I get back from vacation I have it worked out with the local dealer ship to grab a sunroof model for a few days. The mounting points are the same, but it will have to be offset rearward to clear the larger sunroof hump. Also There will be a cutout for the dome light. Stay tuned:D

    Got mine in the mail and installed today! Everything was excellent from the packing of the rack to the fitment after installation. Install was simple with the instructions given and a rivnut tool. I modified the spacers and shortened them slightly only because I installed some handles and needed a couple more threads. Very happy with the new rack!

    Glad you like it! I didn’t plan on the hardware kit to accommodate the handles, but next time I’ll include 2” bolts instead of 1 1/2”. As you can see from your pics, I designed it with full intentions of running a paracord handle...Which is why I made the mounting tabs longer with the space in between.
