    But in the posts where you change the name it doesn’t show as an “edited” post @YamaDirtrider

    @hill gorilla did you see how to do it?

    One you hit edit only change the name part after the @, not the user number or quote area

    @thefatkid so I’ve had a couple instance where my parking brake has stuck on and it takes quite a bit of rocking and force before it releases. Well I opened it up today and noticed AB307342-876E-4354-979D-BB6686638FFE.jpg
    That tab has gotten bent and flattened, however it’s rivited inplace. I tried to bend it out to fix and it seams to only have gotten worse. Just driving around the neighborhood that side will get warm while the other side is cool. I backed the adjuster off till I cound get the drum on. The small arm that stickers off the parking brake bar occasionally makes contact with the back of the studs. Thoughts?

    Mush have been way out of adjustment or assembled wrong at some point. Bend out the tab without it breaking off or your brakes are broken.

    Tried to. It’s basicly gone....
    tried to chisel it out so I could bend but it’s not working. Drove around a few miles and there both about the same temperature now. It has to have been this way for a wile, that little ear has a lot of scratch marks where it’s been rubbing. I’ll try to get more pictures of it tomorrow. Is it the backing plate that has that tab rivited onto it?

    To replace the plate,would it require the axle to come out? Should I be replacing axle seals while it’s apart?

    Replacement would be the backing plate, bearing and seal. If your feeling crafty you could bend it out as good a possible and weld it in place. You could also drill out those rivets and cut out a piece that matches the OEM then bolt it in place.

    Thanks! I’ll try welding before I end up drilling it. Don’t really wanna have to do Berings and seals yet

    Quick update, installed new pads and rotors up front, new pads in the rear.
    Also installed ss brake lines all the way around.
    Finished most of the work on the rear bumper and painted it
    Will install the trailer plug and backup lights later tonight 7A47E129-4C4D-4DD3-A3DE-845043F86672.jpg

    @DaveInDenver and anyone else,

    I’ve got a 10awg(iirc) wire into the cab for the fridge. I just got a sub/amp combo that is 12awg (~12A) and want to install a mobile ham radio (10.3A max)

    My question is Shound I remove the fridge wire and just run a thick wire into the cab to a fuse block then to each device or since the fridge wire is already done do a 8awg to the sub and have the radio tap into that wire. Or keep it separate and have a fuse block under hood to run everything?

    Or any better ideas? I don’t really want to run a lot of wires through the firewall, I’ll proably drill a hole and add a waterproof connector.
