I was going to do the same controller, but I cheaped out at the last minute and went with a flexalite contoller. It was cheap and it’s been doing good so far.

Either is my stocker.

 

Mine is in the drivers side corner between firewall and fender. I dont have a vacuum brake booster so have a bit more room.

 

I bought a Champion radiator with a fitted shroud for a 16" e-fan from Ledfoot Racing. Then bought the spal fan separately. It's highly good... although there are a few different ways to do it I'm sure, the low-profile shroud leaves lots of room between the engine and the fan.

 

I’m still holding that location for my Bussman relay box. I was flirting with the idea of attaching it to the side of my CAI box, but I don’t think you can treat it as a structural element. Fits nice though.

 

Did you paint your valve covers?

 

I wanna powder mine. Red too...

 

I painter my valve covers but didn’t come out the best. Gonna have then powdercoated I think. Trying to find a good color to match speedway blue. Having calipers powdercoated now do will see how they look. Hope they match

Yeah, I used VHT wrinkle paint. It turned out ok. I didn’t mask off the perimeter bolt holes and a couple of them drew the paint up during install. Overall, the product looks reasonably descent. I used a ton of degreaser and wire brushes to clean the varnish off them and create key. Sprayed, then baked them. Texture turned out relatively consistent. We’ll see if they last. I have another pair I can actually powder coat. I just didnt want to have to deal with getting sandblasting media in the oil separator chambers.

 

I won’t pick on you this time.

 

Ford blue engine spray paint. Looks good but I’m anal about stuff so need it perfect.

Not a truck and no sc, but this memory popped up today. Throw back to when I was a bike mechanic and Honda loaned us a few bikes and said to go racing. 6 races this weekend and 6 first place trophies. Good times for sure.
