the HM trails are a mix of everything. there's easy stuff and hard stuff. we did some of the black trails that were fairly gnarly. i think i only puckered up once or twice on a couple of steep climbs. :D there were three of us that went and while we were taking a bypass trail through town, one of my buddies got a flat. so we spent most of the first day getting him a set of 6ply tires in the local town. thats something i forgot...they have some sharp rocks and 2 or 4ply tires can be shredded easily. i'm in the same boat as far as not having riding companions now. they all either sold them off, or got rhinos/razors.

by the way...as of now i am planning on attending "Trail Day" at your farm! :) gunna be a busy couple days for me though. i have a mowing job today after work that i'll be doing till about 7:30 then take the mower/trailer back and drop them, then load up the grizzly. there's only two of us here in my department at work today, where there's usually 4 :(, so my workday is going to be a beeyotch, followed by some hot ass mowing, quick unloading/loading and then heading down there tomorrow morning. i am planning to bring both my pistols down, and maybe a .22 Mag to play with.

are you meeting up at the Walmart, or going straight to the farm? i borrowed a GPS, so if you can give me an addy, i can find you.

We are meeting at Walmart at 12ish then driving down to the farm. It only takes about 30min or so from Walmart to get there. Are you meeting us at Walmart or my farm? My phone doesn't always work when we get down there. I always get text but sometime calls dont come thru. If you just send me a text when you get close, I'll meet you at the end on the driveway. I'm not sure if I gave you the address or not. But here is the best I can come up with. The farm is on lightfoot Fork rd/ KY-1657. We dont have an address, just a red gate. If you decide to just meet us there then just call/text me.

i'm thinking Walmart would probably be easiest. i have no idea if my phone will work down there (Nextel) i will most likely take off from here around 8-8:30 to give myself a little time buffer.

will i be going past "Florence Y'all" ?? lol i have a picture of that water tower from my trip to Tellico.

The job was fun I will say that. Would suck when no one came in to buy a bike for a week I would be only making min wage.
I have been looking on CL for a while and I thinking about waiting until closer to winter time. Seems more people need money for christmas presents and want to sell cheap.

this ad is confusing...says $2K, then $3K...but it does say the guy needs money for bills!

    'nother i found

or you could go this route...i always kinda wanted one...
    http://lexington.craigslist.org/mcy/1796530511.html

    ok, i'll stop :D

having a background with yamaha would be a benefit if you need to work on your rig, but i always try to buy something that i don't have to plan to work on. :) if you are set on a Warrior, i would try to find a newer one with hydraulic brake calipers, rather than the mechanical...they seem to be problematic from my past experiences. they are good bikes however, or they would've stopped making them years ago.

Something about those Z400 that I do not like. For how I like to ride a Banshee would not be good. I do not want another 4wheeler with out reverse. I am looking at 99+ Warrior's I don't intend to buy it to work on it but if I had to I am comfortable with working on them. It fits my needs for what I want with a 4wheeler.

Here is a picture of the Jeep when he almost got stuck. I was trying to get the shot when he was slinging mud.
