Any luck? If not, try my front yard... nearly every morning I get motion alerts from my cameras and there are about 3 or 4 deer in my front yard. They love whatever the vegetation is there just beyond this small retaining wall where it goes from grass to natural vegetation.

It's a work in progress. See my build thread.
Does anyone with a 3rd gen have any experience changing the spark plugs? Dealer told me a few weeks back that they are supposed to be replaced at 60K. (And wanted big $$$ to do the job)

So I ordered plugs, and thought easy peasy… Which was a poor assumption on my part. I don't see how you can get to the driver's side plugs without removing the intake manifold...

I thought this would help, but I guess I'm just stupid... https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/2016-tacoma-spark-plug-replacement.554468/#post-18061586

I guess it explains why the dealer wanted $830 (doesn’t justify the cost, just explains it)

The ford 5.4 had to have fuel rails removed when changing spark plugs. The first time you do it, it takes forever. But every time after that you can fly through. I always hated that design though and am disappointed that the 3.5 makes you jump through so many hoops.
All the spark plugs (and coil packs) on my 4.7 can be changed without removing anything from the engine bay. It is the same for my Toyota 1.8l.

Back in the late 70’s / early 80’s, I had a Chevy Monza with a 350. To change the plugs on it you had to unbolt the motor mounts and pry the engine to each side. At least it ain’t that bad.

I still want a diesel as a farm/ plow vehicle. I love driving my buddies f250 manual.
I would look at a new ram 2500, still can order the manual.

I was at Lowe’s last night and saw a display with the fluid film spray cans. I know it takes a bunch of these to do the underside, and if I did do that I’d go the compressor route.

That being said, it was about 9 dollars for the can and o just threw it into the cart to use as a test to see how it goes on. Since I have limited quantity, where’s the best spots to hit?

I hit frame welds, suspension components, brake line fittings, things like that I don’t want oxidized. But I get several cans usually and end up spraying just about the whole undercarriage

I am serious because there are deer there almost every morning but unfortunately where they are is too close to the road to hunt (legally). It's literally in my front yard right by my house and I hunt on the back of my property meeting the road and dwelling requirements.
