Take the mud flaps off and put some clear bra to protect thr paint.

Could just remove the front mud flaps unless you really like them. I have 16x8 0 offset with 265 75 16 and don’t rub at all, even off road. No mud flaps.

265/75/16’s won’t rub with the stock wheels. Your problem lies there as already states. Wheel spacers will probably do the trick if you don’t want to ditch the mud flaps. I doubt it hitting the cab mounts or fender liners.

Do you have the stock mudflaps?

As others said sand them down or take a heat gun or something and try to reshape or cut away some of the material in the area where it’s rubbing. Have someone jump in the truck and cut the wheel and or slowly drive it to see where the rubbing occurs.

Wheel spacers won’t help. He’s already on -6mm offset and wheel spacers will push the wheel and tire further out...making the rubbing while turning worse.

Alignment first with 3* or more of caster.
    Then start trimming.

You may be right, but usually the tires run in the inner part of the mud flap. I think the way the body and mudflap is designed the further you go out the greater the angle, as it’s not perfectly square to the tire. Thus moving the wheel out may stop the rubbing. If that is in fact the angle goes change. I’d have to look at it again, but this is common in most vehicles

I believe he is stock other than the wheels and tires, no way is he getting 3* with stock UCAs.

There is a reason Toyota says the max tire on a stock truck is 265/70/16, 265/70/17. You have entered the world of modifications. It probably is just the front mud flaps, if you have them. Do some searching on TW, you will find answers and opinions. Best of luck.

265/75/16 does not rub with stock wheels, or wheels that match closely the stock offset.

There seems to be some misunderstanding in this thread. Negative offset indicates more “poke” and pushes the wheels outwards, leading to rub when turning. The more negative, the more the wheels stick out. Spacers dramatically increase your negative offset. If you already have too much, they will make it worse.

Positive offset narrows the track and may lead to rubbing on the UCA.

There is a balance required to be in the sweet spot, but you can push the wheels outward some, as they do with the 16” OEM TRD Pro wheels, or the 17” OEM SEMA TRD 4-runner wheels, without causing rubbing on a non-lifted 3rd Gen Taco.

Spacer won't help. The further out you move the wheel the more likely you are too rub the fender .

    Heat gun is best choice

    Really?
    I’ve got 3* on a 6” lift. It’s possible with a good alignment tech.

Those wheels must be offset a lot, I have a 2017 with the same size and model tires on stock OR wheels with no issues, even when new before my lift. JaCado and some others had the best suggestion- some light trimming after you realign - not too invasive.

Thank you everyone for all of the suggestions it seriously helped! I’m goin start first with removing the front and rear mudflaps being that I never really liked them and I know that it will at least help a little. I’ll make sure to post after with the results! If it still is rubbing at all I will probably take it in for an alignment

So I took off my mud flaps today and so far so good! It would rub every time I pulled into my work because of the snow right now and potholes but today it did not! I still think that I may run into some more rubbing issues when off roading because it still looks like it’ll rub when the suspension is compressed. Now time to find myself a nice suspension lift kit but am I really the only one experiencing rubbing on 265/75/16 on stock height!?
