Just a gen2 TRD shift knob so far. Anxiously awaiting ovTune 1.05 with handheld tuner!
My dad had a Toyota pickup in the 80's. It was blue. Ever since, blue is really the only colour I see on Toyota trucks. Thankful for my Blazing Blue

For how much you saved you can get a wrap job for a couple of grand.

If you get a shitty wrap job. By no means is it permanent, but if you take care of it it will last more than a few years. I had 3m wrap covering some parts of my old car and it was going strong with no fading or breaking after 6 years before I sold it. My cars are garaged though.

No regrets on blue only bummer no longer going to be unique since cavalry opened up to the entire 2019 line up. Drove by a dealer the other day and saw 4 blues out front.

I think the truck looks great. What’s wrong with the black?

DUSTY AF. My cat has the habit of climbing onto my truck because he is afraid of the other neighborhood cats. He usually has mud on his paws, so I wipe the hood of my truck with a wet rag every morning.

Went in for a white one, then saw the silver. Classy and clean. I told the sales woman I changed my mind on color. Zero regrets. I would do it again tomorrow.

LED bar underneath grill and plates direct to frame brackets. Tuning chip, pedal commander.
Midnight Black here no regrets. The metallic blue flake in the paint looks really good in the sunshine. Next favorites are QS, cobalt blue, and cementIMG_2265.jpg IMG_2220.jpg

I had a 2016 TRD OR MGM. It was purty!
But having to keep it outside, every morning ‘bothered’ me seeing either pollen, dust, dirt etc collecting on the hood even after washing it the previous day. Hurricane Harvey totaled it.
Bought a 2017 TRD OR QS.....love it! Doesn’t show that pollen, dirt stuff. Also cut in half all the times I wash the vehicle.

For me this is a real pisser for Pro owners. Exclusivity is one thing owners paid for.
Question? Had you known they were going to release the Pro colors on non-Pros the following year..would you still have purchased?

Yes still I would have still purchased the cavalry blue because; 1) I really liked the color and have never owned a vehicle that I have gotten so many compliments on the color 2) Since cement was opened up to entire 2018 line up after being exclusive to the Pro I kinda figured it would happen to Calvary too. Again No Regrets!

I had a brain fart when I bought this black '16 SR5 back in Nov of 2015.

    IMG_6814.jpg

I have since got wiser and bought this SSM SR w/utility package. The very same color and package I first test drove back in 2015 when I decided to come over to the Toyota camp. My SSM '19 SR is a better built truck than the black '16 SR5 was. 1st thing I noticed was the door seals. They just look better to me on this truck. 2nd thing is the road noise is not as loud in this '19 SR. Could be the solid panel on the back of the cab where the Munchkin seats were on the '16 SR5. And I now have passenger side floor mat buttons. Also was surprised Toyota put heated mirrors in my lowly SR. Love them for sure!

I've had Spruce Mica (green), and silver, the rest of my Tacomas have been white. I prefer the latter. The Spruce Greens I've seen all exhibit paint failure. Silver was ok in the desert, but still prefer Super White.
