    Good morning. Raining. Still.

Steak and propane do NOT belong in the same sentence! I do have a gauge on the propane tank, did the Anaheim stuffed pepper on there with some apple wood smoke for an hour and a half.

But steak deserves charcoal. For the sear.

    The Sear.jpg

Then stick the thermometer in it while it sits on the indirect heat side.

    slide steak rub.jpg

Had to cover the remote read with a glass bowl because of the rain. Normally take it to 138 deg. but last night got up to 141 on me, not that it made much difference. Hell for you Mike I'd take it to 160 if it makes you happy. But not with the gasser LOL.

Coffee, meds and cigar for a hot breakfast. Doctor has me on 500 mg of Aleve twice a day and another med to help protect the stomach from it. Hope they figure out what is causing the joint pain and get off it sooner than later. Scrapple thawed and will have scrapple and eggs soon. With some grade A dark maple syrup. On Sunday's I do usually eat a real breakfast.

We have large clinics\hospitals in Florida and Arizona. At 65 go on Medicare like everyone else and neither place takes it as full payment although they do for retired employees. We do in Mn. because by that age most people are smart enough to move the hell out of here and it still keeps it below the 51% target market group for revenue cycle. Right now Arizona is in the lead by a long shot. #noclocktouching Az. has that right too.

Got home about 1715 hrs yesterday and was amazed that it was 90 degrees after being back there in almost jacket weather. It was funny watching the temps gradually rise the closer we got to home.

looking for some sympathy today... on Friday I took my truck to get the winters on, and the tech at Toyota backed it into a stucco pillar... a 6 inch crease and 2 dents and a scrap down to the metal... it was pristine, over a year and not even a door dent! I want to kill! They saw the daggers in my eyes and booked it in to the body shop in a couple weeks, but first they tried to "buff it out", yeah, like that's going to make me feel better. You'd think the techs at a truck dealership could back up a truck without hitting something, on the driver's side no less, that has been there for as long as they have worked there! :annoyed:

My neighbor had a Jeep Cherokee diesel they took in. The tech thought he put it in park but it was in reverse. He stepped out with the driver door open. It went back into another customer car and a light pole. Bent the door all the way around to the front quarter panel. They gave them a brand new one since it only had a couple thousand miles on it and were having transmission problems with it.

Not yet. Thought about an alternative to Alieve just haven't got there yet. People swear by cannabis oil but it'll be a long time before I even think about that.
