    Took a few years off in between and haven't trained as hard or as frequently as I did when I was 22.

    Do you have specific studies or data to back up your claims about t levels? Not doubting you but I would like to read them myself.

    I also don't think you don't see a lot of Mr. Olympia's in their 20s for the exact reason you stated the sentence before - you should be improving over that time if you have been training properly. For the most part, who is going to be stronger: someone training for 5 years or someone training for 15?

    Depends on how much gear is ran.... at any point you’re talking t levels you have to automatically add in the factors of who’s running extra vs not.

    For instance on my Instagram There is a video of me grinding with everything I have to love 468# on a squat. Exactly one year later I moved a 700# squat like it was an opener. So by what you’re asking. The 5 year guy is hand over hand stronger than the 15 yr guy.

    You could surpass your strength at 22 if you made it a priority.
    And nothing wrong with not making it a priority either.

    I remember reading research back in the day that talked about testosterone receptivity (not just free T levels). It peaked later on. Part of the reason why steriod use is best for the established seasoned guys and not the newbies in their early twenties.

    This was several years ago. I’m going to try to find some articles.

    As in do they cause pain and discomfort?

    My bench seems to be decreasing every week because of my shoulder. I’ll be surprised if I can even get 225 now. Surprisingly it’s onlt bench.
