You can get a small pointy ended fish tank air hose in there (I’ve done it). Also theives have resorted to cutting a large hole in the rubber filler hose behind the fender and put a large hose in there, or just sticking a screwdriver through the plastic tank.

When Im parking on the street, I just put one of these on my truck and it warns me from in the house that someone is near the car. Put a magnet on the back side to stick it on your fender, but keep it at or above waist level to prevent false cat alarms. It works well, even 200’ from my bedroom. I also protect my trailer and gate with them.

If a thief wants your stuff, a thief will get your stuff. I think it has a lot to with situational awareness.

Tested on myth Busters. Sugar is only an issue if you have a steel tank

Didn't know that but I see snopes has it as "false".
I thought that it created a ton of carbon in the cylinders and would cause it to run like crap equalling $$$$ to repair.

Antifreeze or lots of water in the tank can cause the engine to hydro lock. ;)

If people are that malicious where you live, you got more things to worry about than a locking gas cap.

You may also look into tank tracks. In case someone wants to slash your tires.

How right you are....thay can have it as an alternate to damage a repair inconvenience and aggravation.

They also may just pass your truck by and go to the next one instead of having to pry on the locking door.

Bro, 95% of the populous don’t even know what a TRD Pro is. There is no “TRD Pro hate.”

And that could be. But for as many times I will have my gas stolen in my life time, I’d rather just take that chance of paying out $60 or whatever filling up the tank costs. Chances are, likelihood is pretty slim.
