    Janice.

I could write 4 pages of reasons that happened.
None will make you feel better.
    I am sorry.

But you have to realize they did not do it on purpose....
I’m sure the tech feels awful....
Now you need to let them take care of it..

I would insist that they make it like new, and give you some free stuff, wheels, tires, accessories. No excuse for that, I know shit happens, but they can make it right.:annoyed:

    Really free stuff?

Making it right is fixing it the best they can.

A new truck with body damage effects resale value, it will always be a fixed vehicle. I was always taught that when you drop the ball, you go above and beyond to make it right. I was in the residential construction business for years. When we screwed up, which we did , we went above and beyond. One of our laborers backed into the garage wall . All repairs were made to like new and there garage got a free paint job. The customer was happy, the way they should be.

Unfortunately builders now cut corners and don't do shit till you find it. I just recently had the skylight reattached and the missing roof tiles installed because the roofer didn't finish the job and you couldn't see it because of how it's situated. That's not to mention all the fucking garbage they left between the master tub and the surround we found when the cold water leak was discovered when the plumber slopped shit on the copper and the PEX wiggled loose or the corner roof tile that came off because the roofer cracked the facia board and the one and only nail came out. Sure, it's a tract home but that doesn't mean it's a good time to not do a good job.

So, I guess if I'm going to post in here from time to time I should formally introduce myself and take the test, unless, being 65, I'm "grandfathered" in (heh). What the hey, the test doesn't look all that hard.

    1. Hot dog condiments: Mustard and relish... or chili and cheese with mustard. Ketchup? No, just no. Should be illegal.
2.Snack cakes: Not much of a snacker but wouldn't turn down a Hostess cupcake if one was offered.
3.Hardware? One look at my face is generally enough to get the younglings to skedaddle. I don't know why.:goingcrazy:
4.Dog or cat? I don't have anything against dogs, but I currently live with a cat who doesn't care for them and won't let me have one.
    5.Goat porn? Well... ok.

6.Coffee or tea? Coffee, lots of coffee in the morning; iced tea in the afternoon and evening.
7.Bacon: How is this even a question? Of course bacon.

Ok, so the name is Richard; I live in a house on three wooded acres in the country outside of a small town in eastern Kansas, (technically I'm still in the city limits but just barely) about 50 miles south of KC. I share the place with a grumpy orange tabby cat named Hobbes. And yes, the "Goat" is mine, I've had it since '84.

    Questions?

I'm about 45 minutes straight south of Overland Park, Ks. ( KC metro area). The Missouri border is 7 miles east of me.
