I know CMC’s are a pretty common thing here on TW, but I gotta ask, are there any potential structral problems that come along with them? Cutting into the frame on a brand new truck just worries me. Has anyone been in / heard of fender benders or accidents involving a Tacoma with a cmc? Does it compromise structural rigidity or safety in any way?

The cab mount is designed to A) Hold the cab up and B) to keep your front wheel, brake rotor and suspension from being driven into the cab during an offset or small offset frontal collision. The Cab Mount deflects those components down and away from the firewall and cab floor during a hard hit.

    Your choice.
