This doesn't help anything, you could barely hit it without being knocked on your ass.

I started with 24mg to help kick the cravings. I still have a vape that I'll use every now & then with 6mg, unflavored. I started smoking cigarettes when I was 15. I used hang around with lets just say not so nice people.

I love the taste of them haha, I’ll only hit one if they’re around though, probably won’t ever own one.

Love the buzz too haha, way better than camel snus candy chews.

I’ve never had so much Vape smoke blowed into my face until I went to a mostly Japanese car meet.

So those Icon shocks I got, I basically got fucked. They're not the ones Icon sells for 1st gens. They for a custom application. I should have done more reasearch but 10" won't work with the stock mounting location. I just measured & sure enough they are too long, they'll bottom out.

I asked if they were for the stock mounting location before I paid for them. Dude told me yes so i thought they were the ones that icon sells for 1st gens. Turns out he's using a u bolt flip kit with new lower mounting tabs on the axle tube. That shit ain't stock. That's why the 1/2" eyelets worked for him. Dude doesn't even know what p/n the shocks are. Now I gotta try and sell them.

    :annoyed:

Kindly ask to return them for false advertising, or file a dispute with PayPal.

Actually, I don’t think he ever advertised it for 1st Gens now that I look at it.

Yeah he didn't specifically advertise for 1st gens, just posted in the 1st gen section. And that's why I asked if they were the ones that bolt onto the stock mounting location, he said yes. He won't take em back, fuck that guy I don't want anything to do with him anymore or ever again. I could file a paypal dispute and I'd probably win but whatever.

I should have researched 10" but since he said they use the stock location mounting so I didn't think otherwise. Now I can make them fit the stock mounting location but everything I have found online says that 10" shock is too long to use in the stock mounting locations or I'd have to use a really long bumpstop to limit up travel.

I thought about that but then I'd have to get a u bolt flip kit & the new rear bumps I have won't work with the flip kit so I'd have to get new bumps too. Well I don't absolutely have to get the u bolt flip kit but it'll bug the shit out of me. I'm not a welder so I'd have to take it to someone to get done which I hate doing. The extra travel would be nice though but I'll just sell em & get the bolt on ones.

    Lol Those ain't thumbs up!

Why not just do a ubolt flip and weld some new lower mounts on, maybe an afternoon of work for a decent benefit and you'll be able to use all the length with your leafs.

I just posted above why I'd rather not. Would cost me even more money that I didn't want to spend on this truck.

Womp womp, although you could just flip the bottom plates side to side and weld mounts on too, that's a cheap alternative

Fffffuuuuu....finished the trail but did something to fuck my truck up, got a nasty metal(?) on metal sounding rub when turning at full lock to the left now. Everything looks normal to me from what I can tell except I'm definitely rubbing the inside of my frame up front on both sides. Not sure if that's what I'm hearing or not. Gonna take the wheels off tomorrow and take a closer look.

Can't catch a damn break with this truck lately lol.
