Final deep cleaning and race prep before next weekends road trip and shenanigans. With 120k miles of abuse, she's starting to show some signs of wear and tear. Hopefully with the dd arriving in 2 weeks next year will bring time to start addressing some of them.

Random question but anyone do hot water heater repair/installs? I’m looking for a specific part To replace on mine and no one has it, so I’m stuck at this point finding it, waiting a week for one to be delivered, or buy a new tank and install, which I’ve done so not worried but it’s a big price diff obviously, especially when this one’s not even 3 years old, but labor warranty is up, so they’re so nice to cover a $30 part so I can pay someone a couple $$$ to install, which the people I’ve called don’t even have it and need to order it:

Have you called American Home Water and Air (602) 993-0083? If anyone in the valley is going to have it, they will.

I would replace the part, even if it means waiting. Your WH still has 3 - 7 year life left in it. You can install that part, easy-peasy.

I remember a week in middle school with a crockpot full of water in the bathroom to take sponge baths with because our hot water heater broke and my parents had to wait until payday to get a new one.

Sup folks, haven't been on much the last couple of weeks. Hasn't had anything to do with the fallout in here, it's all been life based.

I am working 3 PT jobs... all are fun, so no complaining, but I either have a gig each and every day or nothing for a week or so.

New house is good, as always, there is a few more things for me to deal with than expected. But I enjoy it. We almost have all the boxes unpacked. There is more work coming to the RV yard soon. Also, as soon as bulk trash rolls around, the chainsaw comes out and I have a couple of trees going away. That will be fun too. Flag pole should be installed this week. Will have to recalculate Christmas light needs this year.

Two weeks ago was a week at Lees Ferry with 55 6th graders... camping, fishing, science, rafting, fishing, teacher, night fishing, grilling, fishing. Good times. I was so ready to be done with kids at the end. Luckily I drove up separately and not on the bus.

Tons of other things going on, so there isn't much TW time. Not much wheelin time or wrenching time, but life is good non-the-less.

Still waiting until I can get a 2nd opinion on my medical stuff, but that all seems to be doing ok. I still plan to stick around for a long time to annoy my kids.

    Maybe wheeling T-Day weekend.

    Have a good Monday brothers!

Not significant time, but it is a cool city. Wife and I tossed around the idea of moving to Murfreesboro for a bit. Ultimately summer humidity was a deal breaker. Cost of living at least a few years back was insanely good

Yeah humidity would be a bummer, however I have family in Florida and while it’s different it never killed me too bad.

We have a lot of projects for work out there over the next few years and it would be a good opportunity to advance my career. Thinking about possibly trying it out.

My buddy was just out there for a month. Loved it so much that he is thinking about moving out there. I think he also mentioned that it's one of the fastest growing cities right now.
