Anyone have problems with their rubber strips peeling off in the access cab - those strips that are on the cubby doors?

One of them started peeling up a while ago. The other day, I found it stuck to a canopy bag I was hauling back there. So now, one is completely off and two others are peeling up. This 90+ degree heat surely isn't helping the situation either.

Not sure I need them back there....and not sure I have much time to deal with cleaning it up and adding more adhesive.

    Thoughts?

Do you mean the rubber strips on the storage bins that are under the rear seats? If so, then yeah, I've got one or two that have come off. I haven't tried to reattach them, but I was thinking about spray adhesive the strips and then stick them back on. I'd really rather get a husky liner for back there. I usually leave the rear seats down and the dog rides back there.

Yeah, I meant the rubbers on the storage bins.

I knew that title would get some attention!! :D You guys are all too predictable! :p;)

Thanks for the offer Oswego! Let me poke around where I work and where my hubby works. We're bound to have something available in either of our jobs. I'll keep you in mind for sure!

afd23a - I normally always have them down/flat cuz I'm always stuffing things back there. Is there a Huskyliner available for that specific area of the tacoma? Something to think about...pending cost & appeal.

    Thanks guys!!!

The pic doesn't show what it really looks like, but the part no is the same as what's on the Husky site. I think Husky is the only company to make a liner for on top of the rear seats when folded down. I've been meaning to get one for some time, just too many other things get in the way.

    Here's the link to Husky's site: http://www.huskyliners.com/site//Custom%20Molded%20Floor%20Liners?dt=30&d=2&ct=29&answer=106&previous=49#ColorChange

That's kinda cool. I wonder what it really looks like in the tacoma? I'll have to look around to see if I can get pictures online of it.

Thanks!! I've got a guy at a local accessories shop that I buy this type of stuff from. He usually gives me 'dealer cost'. I bought my front huskies from him. I'll be contacting him next week. The more I think about it, the more I want one of these. And thinking what else I can buy...... :D

If you've had that Rubber on so long that it's peeling off, I'll bet She doesn't like it!

They can't be too important. I can't seem to find them on my truck period. Seems they didn't even install them in the first place.

Note to self. Must look at somebody else's truck.

Just picked up a Husky cargo liner for the back. Paid $69 locally. Came all rolled up in a box. I'll take picture - hopefully the thing will flatten out by tomorrow.

Thanks again for the tip!! Make the backseat area look really 'clean'.

This thing is really cool. I like it!! Paid $69 locally.
I have husky floor mats in the front already that are black, so this was an obvious fit.
