I siped and grooved my meats yesterday and after wheeling last night the siped are mucho visible and been working. Can’t wait to get in the snow again yeeee booyyyssss

I’d rather have a salvage title car than a rebuilt title car. Who knows what shoddy repairs someone has done to get it back on the road.

With a salvage, you know what’s wrong. Mostly.

 

I know why it didn't work for you, cause you didn't clearance at all and used wheels that have way wrong BS for it. But I just slapped on mine hit the fender with a hammer a couple times and it doesnt rub anymore haha

 

Wish we had some snow here already...probably be another month or two before the local mountains get anything substantial. Mammoth/eastern Sierras probably is starting to get hit though.

I thought I'd be doing myself a favor by going 255s instead of 285s but it still rubs like a mother...who knows though, probably would've been even worse with a wider tire.

Don't really know what I'm going to do about rubbing on the cab, I'm not cutting that part. I guess I'll have to see if an alignment shop can get the wheels pushed a bit further forward away from the cab.

 

The ground clearance and supercharger have solved all those minor concerns for me. I tagged my diff so bad last trip I bent a stud, I probably would have just gotten stuck on my old tires. And my current setup weighs less than my previous, but the bright side is you could fill the tires with concrete and it'd weigh less than KO2s

You should make one of those coffee table books full of anti-KO2 quotes....I'd keep a copy in the bathroom for reading material

 

That's not a bad idea. Don't know how much clearance that would give but any little bit will be better than nothing.
