Did border patrol give him a citation or was he just trying to be a nice person?

Naw we don't give citations. Arrests or nada. And the details of that charge are that the person transporting has to know the person is illegal, they have to go in furtherance of the border, and there has to be financial gain.

But from what I heard Mike chased him away haha.

We'd pick up some unwanted passengers in CC sometimes, these unwanteds were walking in circles for 5 days, 3 without food ,they were happy to get delivered...

Elliot mine/valley of the moon is another area where you'll most likely get stopped on way out

I... uhhh I mean “my friend” was driving and saw a guy waving his arms, so I stopped, and before I knew it the dude was in the bed of my truck. I rolled down my window to ask if he was ok, and he replied in Spanish. It was at this point that I knew I had fucked up haha. Fortunately there was a guy who spoke Spanish and told him to get out and be on his way.

Also to the comments pages back on light bars vs ditch lights (I know I’m way behind)

Ditch lights are a huge help for corners, and they should be aimed as such for peripheral vision. The light bar out front is great just to be able to see ahead down the trail. I think both are a huge help, but if I could only have one or the other I’d go ditch lights first, light bar second.

Or combo ditch lights and solve it all. At least up to a certain speed.

C'mon Shane, the magic number is 7! We arent there yet! Hahaha..
Thanks again for the Drone shots above my property, they are really helping me get things dialed here quite a bit, its hard to get the full picture from being on the ground. You helping me get the full picture has been more help than I can even relay.
    Love ya buddy!

In other news my RV failed smog, killed my chance at my first trip in over a year to go ride my dirtbike, waaaaa! So now Im home trying to fix all my other broken shit. Tacoma cooling system, Jeep broken ring gear (last owner didnt like to tighten bolt apparently) and the Chevy just needs some small adjustments for the new shifter cable. RV probably needs a new carb its been nothing but trouble after it was in a super bad sand storm in the desert, and well the air filter was missing, NO BUENO! I rebuilt it but its just being a pain in the arse!

Almost done with my Tacoma (what a pain in the ass!!), had to install a new Radiator and fan combo but the motor is in the way (sits pretty forward) so I had to cut the front end apart to make it fit, now I need to make some new radiator hoses from aluminum so it will not flex or swell because of the limited space, once that's done I can tear it back down and get started on the turbo system for it. Why? Because 400hp just doesnt seem like enough, odd, I know.

Also blew the rear tube on the big tractor tire because the tire failed, 16.9x24 so its a pretty large tire, and they arent cheap! About $500 each and I'm gonna try and mount it myself, (picture a 120# guy wrestling with a 140# tire/wheel, yeah thats gonna be me), its times like this that I wish I was 200# instead of 120#.

Anyway back to the batcave to work.
