    What you said has nothing to do with my post nor does it address any of the issues I've mentioned, either say something productive or at least that's on the subject to the title of this thread or keep it shut. Don't matter how long I've been around. I paid for the product plain and simple. Don't really care if you were a dick rider since 1.01 you do you man.

    You're stating the more posts someone has on the TW forums the better or more credible they are? Son, please, you sound autistic. Poor business service is poor business service no matter how many posts someone has on this forum. Maybe you need to go back to basics and get that through your head sir.

    After a 3 month wait already maybe I will take the refund. If I feel like I need the product down the road I could always make a purchase when this mess dies down. Again, please at least make some sort of on subject contribution or address the issues I've mentioned. You got your product, I'm 3 months in and still nothing. He is not going to "drop" me.

    Still not a valid response. My post wasn't about whether or not I know how things work around here, could care less about that. I'm on my 3rd Tacoma since 2009 and I've never bother to make posts here until I discovered OVTune which was recently. Again, if you're not going to address the issues I've mentioned then just keep it shut.

    Don't matter if you're his husband or wife or know the guy. It is what it is and I'm just calling it like how I see it. Mat's a big boy he don't need you guys coming to the rescue to be his white knight. If he was actually helping me out in the emails (my preferred method of communication) I wouldn't be posting here.

    He answered me last night and was quite condescending by saying to me, "I don't even know who you are." after he directly responded to me saying he'd get it to me in the afternoon. My handle was in every email I sent and I told him that. ... Once again, this was all public and in these forums. Read my messages from this weekend. It's all there. I am a small business owner as well, all software related. I get the challenges. Believe it or not, I am on his team. I would rather not be having this conversation. What I am asking for is not unreasonable.

    I've learned... don't sweat the small stuff. A day, a week, a month.... in the end it's all small stuff. Sure, it's frustrating. Even for those that have been onboard since the beginning. But they've (we've) learned that delays are not uncommon in this product. Some because of the 'alpha' nature of the product, some because of the 'Alpha' nature of Toyota's work and them dumping TSBs on him, and some because life just slaps you in the face on occasion.

    In the end, Matt's always delivered what he's said he would, if not on his original time schedule. Those that have been here for 1500 pages, know all this, have seen all this, know that Matt's doing his best, and cut him some slack. The 'new to the product' guys are rightfully upset that delivery doesn't meet expectations or promises. But blasting here isn't going to change anything.

    Unhappy? Decide which is more important: Your money, time, and sanity... or the product. Matt's refunded when asked and people have gone on happily with their life. When I get wound up, I just go back to not sweating the small stuff. Or, I pull out a bag of popcorn and watch the thread.

    Well if you had read this thread you would understand how this works ,but your some kinda special i guess! We all had to wait to get our dongles sent out and we all had to wait for email response for keys! We all had to wait for tunes to be upgraded at no extra charge! Mat has made several upgrades to the tune and now a handheld unit! Your not the only guy waiting for there tune or files or handheld! You don't like the way he does business to bad! We don't need your pissing and whining on here move along!

    Fair enough. I just image being in his shoes because I work with a dev team. Just seems odd feedback and expectations given his company’s growth. Your situation doesn’t seemed too far fetched IMO

    If you feel he was condescending perhaps you should read some of the posts he's had to read over the last couple weeks.

    And for all of you sending OvTune messages asking for this or that, remember that it takes time to even look at all the messages. Time that could be spent sending out orders, responding to legitimate requests, and finishing the code.

    For those of you that say he should just do this, or do that, I'm sure he really, really appreciates all the 'business advice' disguised as rude remarks...

    Yes, and I want to make it clear that I am not upset with the dev cycle or the fact that he has pushed back deadlines on 1.05 to make sure it is more refined and closer to his ideal vision for the product. I have absolutely NO issue there.

    I got you. I understand where y'all "forum OGs" are coming from. But right now, none of y'all are doing Mat any good. Y'all are scaring and disrespecting all of his new customers away. Mat's swamped, I got that. But there's no sense in bashing a guy who has been waiting for months for a product he paid for.

    I apologize I don't have the time to dig through 1400+ pages. I'm here to address a few issues, and I wouldn't be if he was responding to my emails. Read my post earlier, 20+ emails later he still isn't able to give me the correct tracking information over the span of a week, is it really that hard? Did you wait 3 months for your order?

    Like I said I wasn't around here since the beginning but I'm happy for you that you got your "free updates" but if you read my post earlier those updates are supposed to be free anyways and are expected if the product is not finished. He is fine tuning his product. Trust me I do believe in the product which is why I upgraded and paid extra for the handheld plus the handheld data logger. I'm just trying to have the issues addressed so if you're not Mat himself and can't help me I don't really need to hear it with all due respect.

    Mat's a big boy I'm sure he don't need you to come to his rescue. I'll say this again, either say something productive and address the issues that have been mentioned because otherwise you just sound like you're his special buddy. He has a mouth and hands he don't need you to speak on his behalf.

    I'd be happy to send you the 2 separate service tickets I've opened with him with the entire email history if you're that concerned about him. Maybe that'll help you understand further. I am not here to complain about the delay 1.05 or the delay of my handheld unit. I just want the cable so I can at least flash to 1.04 using the dongle-less method because after 3 months I'm still on stock tune. You're telling me if you had to wait that long and it wouldn't frustrate you the slightest bit then damn, I commend you for your patience. Either that or you are just clueless on how a business is supposed to operate.

    ...but when you do the Internet equivalent of looking me in the eye and tell me you're going to do something that is specific to my situation, it is not unreasonable to expect that you'll do it. I believe Mat mistakenly missed my case that "afternoon" when he did answer emails, and when I reached out and he responded, he had an opportunity to rectify the mistake, but his response was, "I'll get to it when I have time." not, "I apologize for that. I made a commitment. let me knock that out real quick." It has been another day and a half or 2 since then and complete silence. I'm a family man too, but when I know I've failed to keep my word, it sets a better example to my children to see that I rectify it and remain a man of my word. Once again, i'm not asking anyone to move a mountain. Just send me the files that only you can send that you personally said you'd send days ago.
