I think I'm finally 100% done with my solar charge station that I'll keep in the bed while camping. It's for my fridge, cpap, phones, etc. It has two 2.1A USB ports and two 12v ports. It weighs close to 90 lbs which is why I got a case with wheels.

It has a deep cycle 100AH AGM (non-starter) battery, which I'll eventually change out to an optima marine AGM starter to have a backup. I'll also eventually connect the ML-ACR I have so the Taco can provide charge while driving.

It can power the 65L Dometic fridge for ~72 hours while the fridge is set to 34F and it's around mid 70s to mid 60s (day/night), which is as hot as I'd be camping. That's going from 100% to 50% charge.

No inverter as I don't need 120v for anything, but one can easily be added.

I'll eventually get the solar panels for the longer trips, but it's good for weekend trips as is.

The little coulomb meter on the side is great to see the instant amp draw and over time, and it's a great predictor of time left.

There's a 60mm fan on each side drawing air in and an air outlet on top of the charge controller. The fans can be turned on manually, or automatically by a temp switch.

There's also an external and internal temp sensor. You can see the external one next to the coulomb meter in the fifth pic. It's showing just over 4.3A draw from the fridge compressor. It was interesting to see the fridge always needs 55W when the compressor is running. So as the volts go down, it will pull more amps.

I went with a VR9S - very pleased with it. I haven’t had to recover myself or anyone else, but it saved me $500 to have a stump removed after a storm.

    Just bought mine yesterday.

Hauled around two truck loads of donation items today from our pre-Thanksgiving annual purge of stuff we don't really need.

Shopping for a cap and a step for the kiddos.

That’s crazy dealers charging a lot for tint, I did mine from a guy who works at a big dealership in Vancouver Washington and he does it at his house just for the 2 front for $80 and he give me the door handle and tha stripe protector on the doors at no charge E68C0423-D7F1-4F2C-BDB7-929B5379BCD7.jpg

I went with Havok HS2 step bars, bought from realtruck. I love them but am looking to convert to sliders right now.

Thanks! Yeah, they are the dark gloss graphite. However, most of the time they look black unless its sunny. Truly makes a world of difference compared to the stock TRD Sport wheels.
