Keep water from getting sucked into the diff. The stock breather is super low to the ground. I've got a trip next Sunday where it's def. going to be flooded so I didn't want to take any chances. Basically you're just raising the breather higher.

Yup. I’m ordering a Currie 9” tomorrow. Enough is enough.

I’m going to have rebuilt 8.4 with 4.88s and an ARB for sale as soon as ECGS gets this back to me.

Seriously though. My Thoughts are this.

First off, it’s much more difficult, expensive, and daily driver status changing, to do anything about the front IFS.

Also, with a couple of deconstructed spare axles, I can remove the front diff from the equation if I need to drive home with it broken.

Also, also, the front diff does not have to handle to power from the Supercharger on a daily basis.

So, for me, it’s much easier, and more important, to do something about the weak rear Diff.
